Welcome!

Hi! I'm a Stampin' UP! demonstrator and have started this blog to share some of my creations and ideas with you...and to get ideas from you as well.

For those who are wondering, my blog name was inspired by my roommate who wishes she had majored in Latin in college. You've heard of "Veni, vidi, vici" ("I came, I saw, I conquered")? Well, I came, I saw, and I stamped!!!

To start this week, I've challenged myself to make five different cards using the Stampin' UP! set "Pocket Silhouettes." Today's card is called "Shadow Friend":
This card uses Not Quite Navy cardstock & ink, Whisper White cardstock, Sahara Sand ink, the small oval punch and the scallop circle punch. Oh, and my trusty sponges. (I used my coluzzle to cut a "reverse mask" that I laid over the white before sponging and stamping with the sahara sand.) I had to double-punch the mat for the sentiment using the scallop circle punch twice - I like how it turned out.

I hope you'll enjoy and let me know what you like! I'll be asking for suggestions and challenges too... for all those stamp sets and accessories you have that you've never quite figured out what to do with. I will also try to keep you up-to-date on the classes I offer and special deals through SU.

Have a great day!
