For those who are wondering, my blog name was inspired by my roommate who wishes she had majored in Latin in college. You've heard of "Veni, vidi, vici" ("I came, I saw, I conquered")? Well, I came, I saw, and I stamped!!!
To start this week, I've challenged myself to make five different cards using the Stampin' UP! set "Pocket Silhouettes." Today's card is called "Shadow Friend":
This card uses Not Quite Navy cardstock & ink, Whisper White cardstock, Sahara Sand ink, the small oval punch and the scallop circle punch. Oh, and my trusty sponges. (I used my coluzzle to cut a "reverse mask" that I laid over the white before sponging and stamping with the sahara sand.) I had to double-punch the mat for the sentiment using the scallop circle punch twice - I like how it turned out.I hope you'll enjoy and let me know what you like!
